AIT associate members have successfully the completed the AIT Associate Principles Of Hair Science program. They have:

a sound understanding at a cosmetology level of how the human body functions relate to hair and scalp health,
possess a general knowledge of how nutrition, and
a holistic understanding of how well being can affect the hair and scalp.

AIT associates are dedicated to applying the highest standard of care whilst practicing their craft as professional hair stylists. They are often referred to by Trichologists to care for their patients cosmetic hair needs.
